Delinqu3ntres will be playing at Racks El Pueblo tomorrow (April 8, Friday)! Since Lio wasn't able to make it to our Saguijo gig, this will be my first gig after my operation yey! Only right that the first place I play in after my operation is where I got my "infection" in the first place, with the band I was playing with that night it happened.

We were supposed to leave around 4AM Saturday morning, ended up leaving around 8 because everyone was too wasted to wake up that early (swigs from the bottle of "keep on walking Johnny" will do that to you).

Sayang Lio had to leave earlier because of some family matters and we couldn't stay overnight because we didn't bring any clothes.

Kahit na balikan it was well worth it :)

Black holes 'do not exist'

Brownhouse and Maryzark this Tuesday (April 5, 2005) at Saguijo Bar! :) Exciting! First gig for me after my operation! Yey!

Hassle, buti na lang I didn't pay for my ticket. They lip-synced the whole night, appeared to be too chill to the point that they looked lazy, and played only 6 songs (well it wouldn't really matter, they could've just played their CD since it would have sounded the same). To top it of, the freaking aircon in Prince of Jaipur couldn't match the number of warm bodies inside... hassle talaga. Sama pa ng white wine nila (yes it was free but come on, sana namigay na lang sila ng C2).

We recorded two songs over the Holy Week in Kerplunk! Studios. Panalo cause just right across there was a MiniStop (favorite convenience store next to Popular grocery, now known as Micaray Grocery over at Vito Cruz). And since it became a virtual cafeteria for the band, here is my top 5 cheap stomach fillers that you can buy in all Ministops:

(1) C2 Green Tea, Lemon Flavor. (walang katumbas na pamatid uhaw)
(2) Pillows (Crunchy, chocolate filled snack)
(3) Chicken Kariman (the spicy sardines kariman has a free Dole drink though)
(4) Hungarian Sausage (with New York sauce)
(5) Moby Caramel Puffs (parang sweet pop corn na walang corn)

Has anyone else tried Act II Sweet Corn Popcorn?! Super sarap! Argh! It tastes even better than Holy Kettle Corn! Waaaaah! I'm going to raid Cash N' Carry's stock later! Yuuuumeeee!

Argh, the past few days have been extremely HOT. Can't understand how some people can still stand staying outside Starbucks smoking and drinking hot coffee.

Speaking of Hot, HOT Cafe has a new branch in Valero St. right beside Old Spaghetti House. Grabe I've never seen a menu more confused than theirs.... soups, noodles, bagnet... pinoy, chinese... sheesh. Well it's ok, their bagnet is still super sarap :)

I hope Delinquntr3s gets the Boracay Gig(s)! *fingers crossed*

I found out last Saturday that the doctor had to take carve out some of the tendon (tissue that connects muscle to bone) on my index finger, severely impairing movement. The doctor doubts that I will ever get it back to a 100%, hopefully the muscles still connected to the remaining tendon will be able to compensate. I don't need full movement for guitar playing (except for most instrumental songs) or anything else really important (writing, typing) but I'll have to learn picking my nose with my left hand (yup I've tried it... sobrang hassle).

I'm now more dependent on my left arm. It's visibly bigger than my right hand and is a lot firmer (due to 3 weeks of inactivity). But at least now I'm using two hands to type, the mouse is back on my right hand (thanks t Apple's ambidextrous friendly mouse) and I can now drive without someone else shifting gears for me :)

Dual setup at the 2003 Modern Drummer Festival

4 gigs have rendered my right hand utterly useless and the pain has been unbearable even with an overdosage of Alaxan FR. I'm typing and navigating with my left hand, dang I can't even close my jeans, put on my belt and wear my shoes without someone else's help. (you can just imagine how much pain I have to endure in the bathroom).

I missed my friend's birthday celebration over at Peligro and the last gig of Urbandub over at Capones... sigh hassle talaga.
